For your consideration: Folk Art Cow and Calf PaintingI don’t know what this is painted on. It almost feels like some sort of HEAVY board. The painting is very primitive. The cow and her calf are standing in front of a fence. She is wearing a red ribbon and a bell around her neck and tail and a green hat. A milk stool sits behind her. The background on this piece is almost a stucco yellow, very light. There is no artist signature. The painting is framed in a wooden frame. The frame has some surface scratches. There are some smudges on the background portion of the picture behind the cow. There are a few light scratches on the painting, one on the calf above the right leg, and one on the ground beneath him, one on mother cow’s left leg.
